The work included Traditional gesso rebuild, 23.75-karat gold leaf water gilding, Agate burnishing. Surrounding finishes were protected and each stage was completed in the appropriate sequence.
The completed work was reviewed for stability, fit, colour, texture, sheen, and transition into the original surface. Care recommendations depend on the material, finish, moisture exposure, and daily use.
